About Crimson Resource Management Corp
Incorporated in 1986, Crimson Resource Management Corp. is a privately-held oil and gas production company based in Denver, Colorado. All of Crimson’s oil and gas operations are located in California, primarily in the San Joaquin Basin. Crimson’s founding and growth was a result of a diligent and focused effort to acquire and operate existing oil and gas producing properties from onshore oil and gas basins in California. From its initial lease acquisition in Fresno County, California in 1987, Crimson is now one of the largest independent oil and gas producers in California. Crimson and its affiliate companies currently operate in 22 different oilfields across California. Crimson also operates 2 gas plants in California. It also has a significant mineral ownership position in California, collecting royalties and delay rentals on much of its mineral acreage. In addition, Crimson owns acres of fee surface, which is leased to cattle companies, agricultural companies, as well as to industrial users in urban locations, and provides an operating buffer around its existing operations. In 2007 Diamond Well Service, Inc was acquired. Diamond provides all of Crimson’s production well servicing needs. In addition, Diamond does wellwork for other oil companies in California. Crimson has a regional office located in Bakersfield, California. All of Crimson’s field engineering and operations, human resources, EH&S and land coordination efforts are performed out of this office. In its Denver headquarters, all of its accounting, reservoir, geologic and strategic efforts are centered.
