Mission Statement: We strive to empower people, especially those in crisis, through telephone intervention, and information and referral, every hour of the year. We strengthen the community by training Clinic volunteers and educating community groups in crisis intervention skills. General purpose of organization The Crisis Clinic provides the only free, confidential and anonymous immediate emotional crisis response and information and referral service in Thurston and Mason Counties through our 24/7 crisis and youth help telephone lines. We strengthen the community by training crisis line volunteers and educating community groups about crisis intervention skills and community resources. The Clinic lightens the load on emergency services and treatment providers by providing trained and willing listeners to defuse anger, sort through issues and help develop the next steps toward problem resolution.
