About Croatian Data Centre Association

The Croatian Data Centre Association (HRDCA) was founded in 2024 as a non-profit organisation with the goal of strengthening and advancing the data centre industry and its related businesses. The HRDCA brings together representatives from data centres of all sizes, along with their partners from associated industries. The association’s aim is to enhance the perception of the importance of our industry and its crucial role in the development of society and the economy as a whole. HRDCA provides its members with a high-quality platform for networking, exchanging information, continuous improvement, and collaboration with European associations, partners, local communities, and regulatory bodies. We promote cooperation with the academic community and institutes, and we initiate and conduct research projects related to data centres. Our objective is to collaboratively design improved conditions for the operation of data centres in Croatia and the region, while strengthening cooperation with European associations. We place a special emphasis on the development of digitalisation, addressing challenges related to energy efficiency, and fostering sustainable and socially responsible business practices. As such, we will actively contribute to achieving the overarching goal of climate neutrality by 2030. HRDCA carries out its activities in collaboration with its members and partners through the following committees: Committee for Digital and Technological Literacy Committee for Marketing and Communications Committee for Legal, Regulatory, and Institutional Affairs Committee for Ecology, Sustainability, and Social Responsibility Committee for Technology
