1990: The company was founded in Varese in 1990s. A strong idea generated by the innovative mind of the founder Mr. Croci and his love for pets, strengthened thanks to his ten-year experience with its own pet shop, established in 1984. In 1994 The Company expanded and moved its headquarters in Gazzada (Varese). Brand new enlarged offices and 2400 m2 of warehouse. In 1998 CROCI became the first Italian distributor to be certified ISO 9002. The Company extended the certification for the activities of design, development, production in accordance with ISO 9001. Thanks to the awareness of its know-how in the pets market, the Company decided to create its own brand: CROCI. New headquarters in Castronno (Varese), just a few yards from the exit of the Milan-Varese highway. Total area covers 42.000 m2. In 2010 Croci acquired the German company Amtra, a renowned aquariology business with products for water treatment and nutrition. At the end of the year, Croci established a new branch in China (GuangDong area), focused on R&D, production and quality control. This is a strategic step to expand the business in the Asian markets and create modern and technological advanced products combined with a unique design. Over the years, through constant investments in research and innovation, the Company acquired an important leadership role in the market. Nowadays the company offers its customers an extensive product range with more than 8.000 items.
