At Cross Cultural Community Services (CCCS), we believe stronger communities are built when every voice is heard and every individual is seen. Based in Portland, Maine, we are a community-rooted nonprofit working to remove barriers, bridge divides, and expand access to opportunity. Founded in 2017 by three women of color, CCCS helps organizations and leaders foster more welcoming environments where difference is valued as strength. Our work equips agencies, businesses, and service providers to serve all people fairly, whether through workforce development, leadership consulting, or organizational culture strategies. Our team blends professional expertise with lived experience, offering tailored training and guidance that helps partners: - Improve community engagement and service delivery. - Build responsive workplaces that honor individual and cultural needs. - Address the conditions that prevent full participation in community life. Our programs focus on shared learning, reflection, and honest dialogue, facilitating conversations that help leaders and teams rethink how they operate, thereby strengthening their capacity to serve today’s diverse communities.
