About Cross Training Center

We provide life skills, vocational training and job experience for undereducated and disadvantaged men and women. The Cross Training Center’s program is specifically designed to equip adult men and women who have vocational skill deficiencies and major barriers to employment due to chronic homelessness, incarceration, gang affiliation, substance abuse history, criminal behavior and generational poverty. Cross Electronic Recycling is our full service electronic recycling center where we collect out of service equipment such as computers, consumer electronics, large appliances, equipment and automobiles. Items that still have useful life is repaired and refurbished and are then sold at reasonable prices to those who need them. Items that are no longer useful are fully dismantled and recycled at our center. Cross Automotive is our full service auto repair and maintenance shop. Located at 4256 Redman, we provide complete auto services and save our clients money. All services provide hands-on experience for students who are enrolled in the Cross Training Center's auto program and are fully supervised by Certified Mechanics. Our clients are assigned jobs within the various departments of the center where they receive direct work experience and extensive supervision within the workplace. Job assignments are designed to allow clients to acquire new skills, adopt new habits and gain a working knowledge of real workplace parameters.
