About CrossFit Fauna

We plan to do that by being a different kind of gym. While some believe small groups or one-to-one coaching offer the most benefit, our experience teaches us that the accountability, energy, and camaraderie created by surrounding ourselves with like-minded people is unparalleled in its potential to affect genuine, lifelong change. We take advantage of this unique environment to serve the select few who are ready to work hard for something worth working hard for, those who want to be supported, pushed, and coached. At a time when it's so easy to disconnect from ourselves and our community, to choose ease and comfort even when it’s not helpful, and to lose touch with the primal parts of living, we’re here to encourage our tribe to push for ever-more exploration. We believe everything we want for ourselves lives on the other side of that exploration. We’re excited to help you discover that, too. We haven’t just ‘called’ our gym Fauna It’s a concept. noun: fauna; plural noun: faunae; plural noun: faunas 1. the animals of a particular region, habitat, or geological period. We are the animals that inhabit our particular place in the world. The trouble is that our world is all too often soft and sick. Life is not meant to be lived in a bubble of convenience and comfort. It’s supposed to be hard uncomfortable, raw, exciting, scary, hungry, exhilarating, fast, and full. It’s time to return to what we are: primal beings of nature. Powerful and beautiful. It’s time to get outside; to explore walk run jump throw fall down and get back up. To lift others up to put a smile on someone’s face, to take less than you need and give more than you have. It won’t be easy. But we promise it will be worth it.
