This approach combined with learning the adaptability and serenity of sailing allows participants to gain not only the tools to live a sober and drug-free life but a sailing certification they can continue to build on, as they live life one day at a time. We also acknowledge that addiction impacts an individual’s entire social and relationship dynamic. For these reasons, Crossings embraces a holistic approach that provides education, support, and encouragement for the addict’s support network, acknowledging that everyone plays a role in recovery.
