About Crossover for Change
Crossover for Change was founded in 2020 with the goal of empowering young women in developing countries through athletics. Sports have the ability to foster confidence and develop invaluable life skills integral to success and goal attainment. Our hope is to encourage these young women to utilize those lessons to continue their education and pursue their future career goals. Our organization has funded the construction of a basketball court at Immaculate Heart School in western Uganda, which is slated to host the Ugandan National Championships. Additionally, we ran two all-girls basketball camps at Maryhill and Immaculate Heart Schools in Uganda, reaching nearly 2,000 young women.
