About Crossover Outreach
At Crossover Outreach, our mission is to restore hope, provide basic needs, and build stronger futures for individuals and families facing hardship in Genesee County and the surrounding area. We believe that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and compassion, no matter their circumstances. For more than 30 years, Crossover Outreach has stood alongside our neighbors in times of crisis and everyday struggle. We provide essential resources including groceries, clothing, winter coats and boots, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies. By meeting these critical needs, we help ease the financial burden on families and individuals who are often forced to make impossible choices between food, clothing, and other essentials. In addition to our core services, Crossover Outreach offers annual programs designed to bring relief during some of the toughest times of year. Our Back to School distribution helps children start the year prepared and confident, while our holiday assistance programs provide food and gifts that bring joy and hope when money is stretched the thinnest. We also respond quickly to community crises. From the Flint water crisis to the COVID-19 pandemic to today’s rising costs of living, we adapt to meet the needs of those who rely on us. Collaboration is at the heart of our work — we partner with local organizations, faith groups, schools, and service providers to maximize resources and create a stronger safety net for our community. Crossover Outreach is more than a nonprofit — we are a place of compassion, connection, and hope. Together with our volunteers, donors, and community partners, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of thousands each year. Join us as we continue to restore hope, meet needs, and build brighter futures for our neighbors.
