About Crossroad Women and Family Services

Crossroad Women and Family Services is a 501 c 3 charitable organization focused on teaching communities how to respond effectively to the epidemice of abuse. We help reduce the risk of child sexual abuse by training adults on how to prevent, recognize and react responsibly to this issue. With 1 in 4 and 1 in 6 boys are sexually abused before their 18th birthdays and an estimated 39 million adult survivors of child sexual abuse in America it's, isn't it time to break the generational cycles of abuse is before it start? For so many years we have left the safety of our children up to the children. In the meantime innoncent, vulnerable children are being abuse and suffering in silence, and growing up struggling with these wounds that often last into adulthood. In order for adults to protect children from sexual molestors, pedophiles and internet predators they must be made aware of the prevalence of child sexual abuse, it's consequences and what they can do to make a difference. Crossroad also serves disadvantaged women and families residing in low-income, poor and distressed rura communiites through empowerment seminars, financial literacy, parenting support, spiritual counseling, career profiles and counseling.
