Crux Learning works with schools, school systems, teachers and students to help them make sense of educational technology. While we believe that technology is a great enabler for richer, deeper learning, we are also highly aware that unless it gets used in authentic, meaningful ways, it just becomes window dressing at best (and a complete distraction at worst!) If you use technology in your classroom, you know it's only as effective as the way it gets used. Use it well, you can have powerful, amazing outcomes. Use it poorly and you might as well not use it at all. That's where we come in. "Getting to the crux of the matter" is an expression that means to get to the core of what really matters. It means not dancing around with things that are non-essential, but to really hone in on the stuff that matters. This is what Crux Learning aims to do. To give you the big ideas that really make a difference, then to help you build on that solid foundation. By the way, Crux is also the official name of the constellation better known as the Southern Cross, a well-recognised symbol of Australia. Crux Learning is a proudly Australian company.
