About Cryer & Coe Architects
Cryer&Coe architects are an award winning design centred practice established in Bristol in 2018. Each of our projects is unique and evolves from understanding our clients, their brief, the site and future users. Whatever the project size and whether it is a new build home or conversion, in rural or urban areas, we put our clients and the brief at the centre of each project. Our process is one of listening, understanding, and responding, and our relationship with you will shape the project we create together. This approach allows us to simplify project management and to facilitate our clients’ experience, as well as to find effective, integrated and bespoke solutions. We offer an architecture that is refined, simple and thoughtful, combining form, function and aesthetics, with the aim of both realising and exceeded client’s expectations. We are proud to have already created beautiful spaces that have a positive impact on the lives of its occupants and on the environment. Both Duncan and Matt have gained considerable experience and expertise in practices in London and Bristol with projects ranging from the Care & Extra Care and commercial sectors, through to high end residential developments. They are passionate about light, space and creating excellent environments for people to live and work which not only look great but work in practice, making their client’s lives easier as a result. The practice’s varied experience of working across disciplines and with different drivers: environmental, social, historic, economic and spatial, allow us to approach projects in diverse sectors. This also provides the tools to deliver complex buildings, programmes and strategies with a high level of service. Recently completed projects include Rawlings & Son Office development (shortlisted for a British Council for Offices (BCO) award) and Stacked Up, a residential refurb in central Bristol which has been nominated for a LABC Award.
