About CS Create
We are a student organization at UNC Charlotte dedicated to providing meaningful opportunities to our members trough our three core goals: 1. Semester-Long Projects & Expo We give students the opportunity to build real, meaningful software projects over the course of a semester. Teams will go through the full development cycle from ideation and design to testing, versioning, and deployment. At the end of the term, we'll host an expo where students will showcase their work to recruiters, professors, and peers. 2. Hands-On Technical Workshops We'll regularly host workshops on practical, high impact topics like Git/version control, system design, databases, and more all of which are designed to prepare students for real-world software development and internships. 3. Industry Engagement We aim to bring in professionals from the tech industry to share insights, demonstrate real-world standards, and offer guidance. So, whether it's through Q&A sessions, guest lectures, or mentoring, we want students to learn directly from those working in the field.
