About CSAW (Cambridge South Asian Women's Committee)
Cambridge University's South Asian Women’s Committee is an extension of the University’s Brown Girl Link Up society. The society and its members aim to build a comfortable community and space for South Asian women and non-binary students, a typically underrepresented group, in Cambridge. BGLU fosters a culture of empowerment both by creating a safe space for the discussion of cultural issues or concerns, and by organising a range of inclusive social events for students. Through CSAW we hope to extend this culture beyond the geographical boundary of Cambridge, fostering a network of support and inclusion for current, past and future students. .
