About CSX

CSX is a technology company focused on the management of concussion in sport. We are based in New Zealand and the US but operate globally in over 32 countries. CSX System allows an individual athlete, coaches, parents and Health Care Professionals no matter the sport to be able collect and share cognitive health data. The most important thing is to manage a concussion properly and ensure the brain is looked after. This can only be done with data and that is the gap CSX fills. The CSX app is by many of the worlds elite sporting teams and competitions. CSX is used by World Rugby for all their Elite competitions globally including the Rugby World Cup, Super Rugby, Premiership in the UK, International rugby, World 7s series and others. Other sports and competitions use CSX including NRL, AFL, New Zealand and England Cricket, Southampton Football, NSW Rugby League and Queensland Rugby League. Outside the elite teams and competitions, CSX works closely with New Zealand Rugby to deliver a protocol used inside the Rugby Smart program. Out community level protocol is designed to help schools and clubs manage a large number of athletes no matter the sport from the time of injury through the return to play ensuring that everyone connected to the person understands what is going on in the recon very process. CSX also develops wearable technology to track and record data to do with the movement of the head while playing sport. The wearable is designed to provide key information that can not be seen with the human eye, collecting thousands of data points every second. Data collected combined with video provides a key insight to identify athletes at risk either through a single event or a cumulative build-up of impacts over the session.
