About CU Denver Information Systems Association
The Information Systems Association is a student club at CU Denver that was established in 2001 and consists of approximately 200 members. The club facilitates events for students to learn more about companies in the Denver tech industry and provides students with networking and learning opportunities related to IT. The Information Systems Association is for students who are majoring in areas related to the following: Business Intelligence Data management, mining, warehousing Digital marketing and social media Computer information system management Information security and assurance Marketing with new technology User experience and user interface design Website design Other IT related areas The Information Systems Association connects students with IT professionals in the Denver metro area in hopes to expose the students to future career opportunities by: Company tours Meet and Greets Panel Events Exclusive Internship/Career Opportunities The events are executed by members (students) themselves by reaching out to local companies.
