Cubic 8 is a nonprofit organization founded with a mission to guide, support and empower victims of workplace bullying. Our team is a coalition of professionals with human resources and legal expertise who have witnessed firsthand the indignity of unacceptable wrongful conduct in the workplace and its impact on organizational performance. Employees suffer in terms of well-being, self-confidence and quality of life. Entities that condone this destructive phenomenon foster a toxic environment, which demotivates employees, increases absenteeism, lessens productivity and damages the organization’s reputation. Cubic 8 was launched to lend a guiding hand to anyone who is or has suffered from bullying in the workplace. We accomplish this by offering one-on-one consultations, workshops, supportive tools and external resources as well as guidance on how to document incidents and file a complaint. We take an analytical yet compassionate approach, walking through the scenario together to identify negative behavior and the appropriate way to stand up to an offender. The passion that underpins this mission is to drive the implementation of anti-bullying mandates written into HR policies but not practiced in reality. Not only do we help employees who have endured this abuse, we also help companies looking for direction in how to build a zero-tolerance environment. We understand how the bullying culture perpetuates, why it is harmful, and what needs to be done to recognize and eradicate it. We are also just here to listen in confidence so you know you are not alone.
