About CUIRS Investment Research

Established in 2022 February, CUIRS Investment Research ("Previous CUHK Investment Research Society") is an investment research and banking talent platform gathering the brightest students globally. In 2022, CUIRS Investment Research has grown rapidly in Hong Kong with 50+ team size including alumni and currently expanding to US, UK, and Germany initiating cross-country and university co-op research projects. Our flagship goal of overseas expansions is targeting to reach the University of Michigan in the US, the University of Manchester in the UK, and the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Germany while solidifying our local research team in Hong Kong. Our short-term vision is to establish strong in-house research abilities by delivering high-quality monthly research, and this would serve as our foundation to raise student investment funds in the medium term; and most importantly, build a top-tier talent community in Asia. For our team structure in 2023, we have various asset classes across different markets - Hong Kong Global Equity Research Teams (HKGET), and Global Market Team (GMT) in CUIRS Hong Kong, MST (Marketing & Strategy) for in-house content management and external partnership.
