About Cultiva Lab

Cultiva Lab is Consulting Agency and an open environment for collaboration and collective shaping of All-Life-Affirming ecosystems and practices. At Cultiva Lab we explore and shape evolutions, not closed solutions. We promote and carry out creative participatory research and strategy development processes with organisations, public institutions, and communities to co-develop new understandings and find collective solutions. We also provide trainings and masterclasses. We work with communities, NGOs, public sector and research institutions to reshape processes, systems, strategies, and methodologies. Doing so we cultivate futures that are life-affirming, just and sustainable. Cultivar ́ is Spanish for ́to cultivate ́ [/ˈkʌltɪveɪt/] and means to nurture and care for something to help it thrive. Originated in agriculture, to cultivate refers to preparing and nurturing the soil to grow crops or plants. In permanent agriculture, known as permaculture, it is cultivated as an ecosystem which combines different forms of life and which acknowledges and integrates the complexity and the diverse power dimensions of ecosystems.
