About Cultural Latinx Advancement for Resources and Opportunities

Cultural Latinx Advancement for Resources and Opportunities is the oldest Hispanic/Latinx organization at the University of Virginia. Previously know as Latin Student Alliance (LSA) and Cultural Organization for Latin Americans (COLA), its mission was to organize events to honor Latinx traditions, build a Latinx community, and educate others about Latinx identities. Since 2024, the organization has expanded its mission to providing connections and resources for Latinx students to get involved in non-latinx organizations at UVA (such as consulting, debating societies, and other competitive extracurricular activities) and receive professional advice about recruiting, graduate school, and business etiquette.
