Cupcake Hugs came into being one day while visiting my grandmother at her assisted living facility. Her "new" home was quite lovely and the employees very nice, but I felt that there was something else I could contribute as well, in their golden years of life. For those seniors, who no longer have friends or family nearby for visits, Cupcake Hugs will provide a one-on-one interaction, a listening ear and most importantly a great big hug from you. Today more than ever, seniors will benefit from this special visit as it is proven healthy for self-esteem and psychological well-being. “ ” Our mission is to touch each person with that special kind of love and make their day just a little bit brighter. While birthdays and holidays are great days to show someone you care, any day would be just as special. Cupcake Hugs takes great pride and use only quality ingredients in everything we make. Many of my recipes date back to my grandmother who owned bakeries in the bay area. I learned to cook standing on a stool watching and measuring ingredients besides my mother and grandmother.
