About CuriousBuilds

CuriousBuilds is a student-led venture studio and creative lab reimagining what’s possible for high schoolers with big ideas. We’re building a collaborative space—virtual for now, local soon—where ambitious students can develop passion projects, explore entrepreneurship, and grow into the next generation of innovators. Our 7-week summer program, The Growth Network, blends real-world venture building with fireside chats from top founders and mentorship circles led by students at T20 universities. Our mission is simple: make building cool things with cool people not only possible—but inevitable. We launched CuriousBuilds with a belief that access to opportunity shouldn’t depend on your zip code. What began as an idea after visiting vastly different schools has turned into a grassroots movement to create community, creativity, and impact. We’ve partnered with organizations like GE Aerospace Foundation, United Way of Greater Cincinnati, and LEAD Training to host events like Advanced Manufacturing Design Day, where over 50 students competed for $1.2k+ in prizes and 95% walked away with a new interest in manufacturing and design. This summer, we’re launching something new—by students, for students. From our weekly “Growth Union” strategy circles to open mic fireside sessions with founders across the country, we’re creating a space where teenagers aren’t just preparing for the future—they’re building it. And when it’s all said and done? We’re wrapping the whole journey into a published book to share the stories, lessons, and mindset that shaped it all.
