About Custom Microwave
CMI was founded in 1965 for the purpose of manufacturing complex high precision microwave, millimeterwave and sub-millimeterwave passive components and assemblies for ground and space use. It has since grown to provide full services for the design, analysis, and test of space-qualified antenna feeds and components. CMI is well-recognized throughout the industry for its high product quality and innovative design and manufacturing techniques. CMI’s 55,000 sq. ft facility houses all necessary personnel and equipment. In-house capabilities include RF CAD design, mechanical/thermal design, manufacturing engineering, CNC mills, CNC lathes, wire EDMs, CNC CMM, electroforming, plating, painting, and environmental testing. CMI's quality system is certified to conform with the ISO9001:2000/AS9100 standards. CMI is an approved vendor for most aerospace companies including Lockheed Martin, Space Systems Loral, Orbital Sciences Corp., Boeing Satellite Systems, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Harris, NASA/JPL/GSFC, and Ball Aerospace.
