PagePlus is very involved with the community. PagePlus has given many donations since it's inception to local community groups in the form of Pagers for communication, or to assist with a community project. PagePlus since 2003 has been either purchasing paging companies or taking over abandoned accounts that would otherwise leave the pager end-user without service and nowhere to turn.
