About CutTime Simfonica®

CutTime Simfonica is a flexible band of string players intent on having serious fun with mostly classical music, at times for curious newcomers in bars and homes, and at times for veteran audiences demanding highest quality performances in concert halls, schools and churches. We "edu-tain" and take big risks to make music truly sexy. We feature string players (4-6), an optional drummer, and sometimes a guest performer. We perform variety programs of beloved and emotional symphonic, piano, jazz, rock, as well as powerful new American-romantic works by bassist Rick Robinson, who started the group while a member of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. This flexibility can plug smoothly into bars and clubs amplified, as well as traditionally into schools, churches and concert halls. This is the sister ensemble to Robinson's first outreach ensemble, CutTime Players. These are the flagship ensembles of the parent company, CutTime Productions, which also publishes 70% of its library as CutTime Players Publishing.
