Cuttlefish Software was founded to provide high-quality software for public sector organisations. We focus on the public sector for three reasons: 1. We believe public sector organisations are badly served by existing systems providers and deserve better. 2. Public sector organisations provide services from which we all benefit. We find it rewarding to support organisations which support our communities. 3. We enjoy working for public sector organisations because, when you do a good job, they tell everyone! Our first product is Visor: a modern, cloud-hosted system for managing the investigation of safety events. Visor coordinates the different people required to work on an investigation as it moves through the stages of report, investigation and approval. Users can easily see what tasks they have assigned to them and will receive weekly reminders. The health & safety team can see at a glance who is responsible for the in-flight investigations and what edits they are making, which saves valuable time – time which can instead be spent on learning lessons and implementing change.
