My name is Cheryl Warburton, I am the owner of CW Hats and Accessories. We are a small independent shop in the heart of the market town Dorchester in Dorset. I opened my shop on the 9th July 2020 during the period when weddings were restricted due to COVID-19. Before I opened during the lockdown I was making masks and cutting out scrubs for charity. I decided to make some masks for my shop thinking maybe someone will want one. A week after I opened the prime minister made masks compulsory in shops and that is why I am still going today. I have sold over 3000 masks and had the privilege to make some weddings hats and fascinators. I started my design career at college doing design and textiles since then I have been making hats and fascinators since 2017 and have been lucky enough to be taught by some amazing milliners including Katherine Elizabeth and Tracy Chaplin. I am now an award winning milliner winning Corporate Live Wire's, Southwest England Prestige Awards Hat Boutique of the year award in 2021. I decided to use my millinery skills and open my shop to help my customers to find the perfect hat, hatinator or fascinator for weddings and the races to matched their outfits perfectly, all of my headpieces are bespoke and can be designed to your specification as required. I specialise in mother if the bride and groom hats if you are looking for that show stopping piece without outshining the bride we can accommodate and design the perfect Hat, hatinator or fascinator to suit your style the dress and the colour. I then took this one step further and decided to offer scarves, pashminas and bags to go with the outfits.
