Many companies need funding especially if growing. This form (ABF) of financing is very simple – as it is based upon a companies assets. There may be cash locked in the assets of a company … like raw inventory, A/R, orders, equipment, equity in real estate etc. Our function/goal is to unlock the cash in those assets so that you/the Op Co can continue to grow. ‘Alternative financing’ – is not cheap, it is expensive – altho not as expensive as often think – is renting equity – so for temporary use – ie a bank LOC top up and/or bridge/buffer. It allows a fast growing company to continue to grow tho. Cost are mid-teens. Advances are 80%+. The focus should be on increasing revenue/profits/valuation/client acquisition etc … if no advantage – don’t do. The typical ‘fit’ is a fast growth firm with assets, ie typically manufacturers, distis etc … raw start-ups need equity funding and this type of funding generally will not work for them. Our min is $500,000 up to approx $8MM. We act as a temporary, focused employees or as short-term consultants with the specific function of finding debt/loan. We are brokers, 15 years ago we were direct funders but we found it very limiting. Our compensation is essentially built-in as part of the initial Advance. To initiate the process an executed Engagement Letter and a deposit against the success fee is required. We are also involved in the world of ESG by discovering potential fund deployment opportunities towards the design & install of on-site private primary power plants for larger, multi-facilitied organizations.
