About Cyber Safety Project

The Cyber Safety Project is a whole community approach to combatting cyber safety. With workshops and support targeted to students, teachers and parents, we arm the whole community with proactive strategies to keep our communities safe. Our #incursion style program is designed to EMPOWER STUDENTS to make safe decisions and understand the challenges with navigating the vast online landscapes for school, life and play! We want children to feel confident that they can manage their own safety when navigating social networking and gaming platforms. Our goal is to EQUIP EDUCATORS with the resources and strategies to continue these important discussions back in the classroom. Teachers who participate in our program gain access to our online teacher resource portal with activities aligned to local curriculum outcomes. Knowledge is power. So we ENGAGE PARENTS and encourage them to join us for an informative evening workshop designed to inform (not scare). These sessions aim to highly digital trends and provide practical conversational materials to help open up the communication between families about digital use!
