About Cycle Alert
Unique, wireless, inexpensive and scalable safety sensor technology for HGVs, LGVs and PSVs. Manufactured in the UK, Cycle Alert is the world's first RFID system that specifically detects cyclists in proximity to HGVs, LGVs and buses. Wireless and weatherproof, fitting time takes 40 minutes and battery life is 10 years! Cycle Alert also boasts on-site personnel detection, data reporting and track and trace capabilities for efficient, cost-effective fleet management. The system comprises of a tag fitted to the cyclist’s bike, wireless low-power sensors (10 year battery life) on the vehicle and a cab-mounted device to alert the driver (audio and LED light display). Cycle Alert doesn’t just alert drivers to the potential risk in areas frequented by cyclists – it facilitates a direct warning from the cyclist straight to the vehicle driver, hence empowering the cyclist to make themselves more visible to HGVs.
