Cygnus is a risk advisory consultancy, specializing in Security, Cyber Security and Social Risk Management. We advise and assist our clients with intelligence and risk mitigation advice throughout the typical project cycle, from Conception & Feasibility, to Funding, through to Early & Enduring Operations. We are unique in the risk advisory space, in being accredited expert witnesses in Security; we have successfully represented our clients’ interests in international arbitration at the World Bank’s ICSID Tribunal, in civil cases in the English High Courts of Justice, and have led evidence-gathering investigations for clients facing the prospect of litigation as a result of serious security-related incidents. Our clients are mostly private-sector companies, and we have a particularly strong track record supporting infrastructure investment projects in sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East and in South Asia. We are also retained as risk advisors by a number of insurance companies in the City of London. As an ‘across-classes’ advisory company, we support both brokers and underwriters in the areas of cyber security, port and maritime security, and WTPV intelligence and mitigation.
