D.H. Machine is a northern-Indiana based machine shop that provides a number of metal fabrication services such as welding, manufacturing steel and aluminum products, powder coating, bending (brake press), laser cutting, plasma cutting, and large commercial framework assembly. We are working hard to equip local businesses to change the world. We are doing that by building a community of local business leaders who want to be inspired, grow, and learn. As a machine shop, we serve a variety of industries such as tractor attachment manufacturing, construction and engineering, aerospace, and more. Over the last 30 years, DHM has developed a reputation of reliability in the industrial heartland of northern Indiana. While we are dedicated to quality service to our community businesses, we also enjoy serving clients throughout the United States. We operate state-of-the-art equipment, including: - Seven brake presses capable of bending metal ranging from 8’-14’ in length and force capacities ranging from 55-600 tons. Our largest machine is capable of bending three inches of hardened steel. - Plasma Cutters including a 12’x60’ Alltra HG16 with Hypertherm XPR300-VWI Plasma System - True hole technology that eliminates hole taper, has best top and bottom level roundness, and narrows gap with laser cutter hole quality. Our gas combination produces quality cuts on all metals, and performs well on non-ferrous aluminum and stainless steel. Our machines maintain precision cuts on up to three inch thick material. - Powder coating setup that can process thousands of small units and hundreds of large units (40”x40”x8’) daily. Our machines operate continuously throughout the day, and can work with all varieties of powder coating that will cover the wide ranges of quality, finish, and color–all based on our client’s preference and budget.
