Over ten years I have: .• Negotiated and drafted entertainment agreements, e.g. artist agreements, producer agreements, publishing agreements, joint works agreements, work-for-hire agreements, joint venture agreements, management agreements, termination agreements, buy-out agreements, license agreements and employment agreements. • Optimized ability to draft/negotiate contracts by attaining knowledge of current trends and issues concerning distribution of new media, royalty payments, and content owner’s rights. • Appeared on Black Entertainment Television’s “Rap City” video show to discuss owner’s rights and issues in connection with contracts concerning Copyright Law. • Appeared on Black Entertainment Television’s “Black Carpet” talk show to discuss the impact of the Federal Investigation of the “Mixtape” and how it relates to owner’s rights, sales, the enforceability of contracts and the state of corporate governance. • Drafted various contracts for a theatrical production company, negotiated to completion and administered all agreements successfully resulting in the national release of a multi-million dollar feature film entitled "The Hip Hop Project."
