About D.Woon Customs

My name is David Woon. I've been painting, building and customising 1/6 scale collectible figures over the last 6 years. I first started learning how to paint because I would find toys with such great sculpted details but be lacking in the accompanying paintwork, making it look toy-like. I was curious to see what these toys could and should have looked like, had these companies a greater vision or put in a bigger budget. 6 years on, what started as hobby has now evolved into a life-long passion. Nothing excites me more than being able to transform toys and collectibles into realistic interpretations, with painted details that make them look like they stepped right out of a movie screen and into your living room.
