Daiko has two headquarters in Tokyo and Osaka to operate 4 business offices covering the entire country and 18 consolidated subsidiaries in Japan and abroad. Daiko has been contributing to the development of the Asian markets ever since it formed a business partnership with Shanghai Advertising Ltd. In 1979 and opened its first overseas office in 1985. Today, Daiko has local subsidiaries network in overseas countries such as Taiwan, Viet Nam, India, Indonesia, including Daiko Advertising Co., Ltd. in China. Daiko established a comprehensive business alliance with the Interpublic Group of Companies, Inc., one of the World’s largest advertising groups, along with its leading agency, Lowe and Partners Worldwide in 2000. In December 2002, Daiko agreed with Hakuhodo Inc. and Yomiko Advertising Inc. on the basic concept of business integration to establish a joint holding company. As a result, Hakuhodo DY Holdings Inc. was established on October 1st, 2003, which was listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Subsequently, on December 1st, 2003, Hakuhodo DY Media Partners Inc., a comprehensive media company, was established by the transfer of the three agencies’ respective media arms.
