About Dakota West Credit Union
Dakota West Credit Union is dedicated to helping our members grow with comprehensive, competitive financial products partnered with personal, professional service. It is our vision to deliver consistently the essential financial services in the communities we serve that promote agriculture and commerce while improving the quality of our members’ lives. We offer a full range of services for individuals and businesses including deposit and loan products, debit and credit cards, mortgages, vehicle loans, IRAs, CDs, bill pay, online account access, a mobile app, and a variety of other services for our members. We also support our local communities with donations and sponsorships and by volunteering. We live and work in the same neighborhoods as our members, and we want to do our part to keep our communities growing and thriving. Our Watford City main office was established in 1941 as McKenzie County Credit Union; in 1991 we merged with Grenora Credit Union. To better reflect our membership, we changed our name from McKenzie County Credit Union to Dakota West Credit Union. We now also have branches in New Town, Turtle Lake, Washburn, Mohall, New England, and Bowman. Each of our branches and its members and employees help grow the Dakota West family with exceptional commitment to building relationships and strengthening communities.
