About Dalhousie Law Students' Society
Who are we? The Dalhousie Law Students' Society (the "LSS") is the elected student government of Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law. Our Board of Directors comprised of seven executive members, a representative from each section in first year, three representatives each from second and third year, a multi-disciplinary representative from the joint degree program, a Black students representative, an Indigenous students representative, an LGBTQ+ students representative, a gender representative, a Chair, and a Secretary. In 2012, the LSS was awarded the Dalhousie Impact Award for Best Faculty Society. What do we do? The LSS represents the student voice in all aspects of the law school including social, financial, athletic and academic areas. We also nurture the relationship of the Schulich School of Law Law within the larger University community. Our goal is to support and develop initiatives that promote a dynamic law student experience. Any other questions?
