About Dalloul Artist Collective
The Dalloul Artist Collective (DAC) is an unprecedented initiative built to support artists in the Middle East and beyond with the tools, representation, and advocacy they need, but rarely receive. Founded by Dr. Basel Dalloul, a Lebanese-American technologist, lawyer, collector, and art patron, DAC builds on the same commitment to cultural infrastructure that led him to establish the Dalloul Art Foundation (DAF), one of the region's most comprehensive institutions for the research and preservation of Arab modern and contemporary art. While DAF focuses on scholarship, documentation, and public access, DAC was created to directly serve the artists themselves. It responds to the recognition that many artists in the region lack consistent, career-focused support - what we define as true artist care. DAC is not a traditional gallery - though it can act like one. It is not a dealer - though it facilitates sales and exhibitions. It is, instead, a collective platform and professional backbone for visual artists navigating an increasingly complex art world. Whether an artist is based in Beirut, Dubai, Cairo, New York or beyond, DAC supports their work through tailored infrastructure.
