The Group started its insurance operation in 1964 by acquiring Al Nisr Insurance Co. in Lebanon. In 1980, the Group established the Saudi Arabian Insurance Company BSC (c) and 2007 became a founding member in the Saudi Arabian Cooperative insurance company in KSA. Today, DAMANA is a prominent insurance group with operations in the GCC & Lebanon offering a wide range of insurance solutions for businesses and individuals. During the past half century, DAMANA Group invested in other insurance and reinsurance companies, an assistance company and a Third Party Administrator.
