Dan is a former Amoco Production Company Drilling and Completion Foreman, has 44 years oilfield experience in drilling, completion, and production operations and extensive knowledge and expertise of the Ark-La-Tex Oil Patch. Superior experience and up to date knowledge of the changing oilfield with companies servicing the Ark-La-Tex, Cotton Valley, Haynesville, and several other areas throughout Texas, we provide our customers with the field knowledge necessary to complete any project. Our firm provides consultants for both major oil companies and independents. We have drilling supervisors working for Anadarko, Encana, and Valence Operating as well as for local, independent operators. Our cased-hole consultants work for XTO, Devon Energy, WildHorse Resources, and numerous independents. We have completed projects covering Texas, Louisiana, New Mexico, and Mississippi. Dan, has extensive field experience in the drilling and completion of oil and gas wells in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas. He also has outstanding knowledge of the zones of interest for completion in these areas. In addition to providing information to assist our supervisors in the field, Dan offers well planning assistance, performs log analysis, and writes drilling and cased-hole procedures and AFE’s. Dan Blocker Petroleum Consultant, Inc. retains consultants that are up to date on all Safety courses and have safety first along with the experience in all phases of Oil and Gas production, from staking the location, drilling, completing, installing production equipment and turning to sales. These consultants are experienced in conventional methods as well as the newest technology in the industry and can help make any project an operational and safe success.
