Who We Do: DIW has the draw--our historic ties to the pioneers of Black Concert Dance such as Dance Theatre of Harlem; our passionate, culturally-competent, and renowned teaching artists; our state-of-the-art studio space; and our holistic training programs--to attract, retain, and advance underrepresented communities who otherwise might not ever experience quality dance training or view it as a viable option for future success. DIW is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
