DANEnet provides tech support and education to local nonprofits and the communities they serve. Our Digital Equity Project (DEP) specifically targets adults on the other side of the digital divide: low-income families, seniors, veterans, and adults with disabilities who don’t have computers in their homes or who want to learn basic computer skills. The Digital Equity Project provides: - Information on local, low-cost broadband access. - Free computer classes and help clinics in libraries, senior centers, and community centers. - Free refurbished laptops to low-income households without computers, via referral by direct service providers (caseworkers, social workers, etc) at partner agencies. We are committed to digital equity, and believe that technology, connectivity, and the skills to use both are part of a quality of life that all have the right to enjoy.
