Objectives Our objectives are designed to make a real impact on the local MND community: Raise Awareness of MND We believe awareness is the first step toward support. Through regular campaigns and events, we aim to educate the public about MND and spotlight the resilience of those who face it daily. Support the Local MND Community Danny’s MND Foundation hosts inclusive events, such as charity golf days and workshops, that foster connections and build a supportive network for those impacted by MND. Collaborations with local healthcare providers, charities, and groups ensure valuable resources, advice, and information are accessible. Fundraising for Local Charities and Hospices Fundraising is at the heart of our mission. We organize events that contribute to local charities, like Forest Holme Hospice Charity, which provides essential MND support and end-of-life care. With the help of local businesses and sponsors, we aim to directly support services that assist our community. Personal Medical and Care Needs Part of our fundraising directly supports Danny’s own medical care, ensuring he has the resources he needs to continue managing MND. By maintaining his health, Danny can keep raising awareness and advocating for the MND community, providing hope and a voice for those in similar situations.
