Danpoort supplies the right abrasive tools, for all kinds of applications and tasks. Danpoort can provide the customer with belts, discs, sheets, rolls and other abrasive products in a wide range of dimensions. Mr Daniël van der Poort founded Danpoort in 1932. As time passed, the business in Rotterdam expanded in size to become a major industrial supplier of sanding, grinding and polishing materials. The company site was badly damaged during the Second World War. However Danpoort re-established itself strongly in the market after the post-war reconstruction period. In 1984, the company moved from Rotterdam to Zwijndrecht, where it is still based today. At Danpoort, we want full control of all the operational processes within the company. We continuously monitor raw materials, orders, production, finance, utilization of staff and machine capacity, quality and our delivery times. We regularly analyze our internal processes and performance. This puts us in full control of our organization.
