About Dao

Davy Dao a toujours nourri le rêve de créer un jour sa propre marque. Créée en 2012, la maison Dao s'est développée dans la ville qui a vu naître l'école de Nancy, une composante de l'Art nouveau. Entre art et artisanat, le créateur développe chaque collection au sein de son atelier-boutique situé au 5 rue Saint Nicolas. Ce savoir-faire unique a été nourri au fil des ans et des rencontres. Véritable autodidacte, Davy Dao a appris seul à créer ses propres jeans de ses mains. Après s'être spécialisé dans le denim pour hommes, il a étendu ses créations aux pantalons, bermudas, t-shirts, sweats, et robes en proposant des collections féminines et masculines. La maison DAO compte aujourd'hui 11 personnes travaillant à temps plein. Cette croissance a été permise grâce au succès du 1er jeans cultivé en France : le Denim Lin.
