About Dar Al-Islam Centre
Dar Al Islam Centre is an Islamic community centre based in Willesden Green in North West London, UK. Established in 1993, we have been serving our local community for coming up to three decades, drawing in people from London and beyond. Our aim is to promote the religion of Islam and to support the community by providing a platform for events and to equip our local community with the necessary skills, knowledge and behaviours to develop positively in life. Our team are dedicated and passionate about providing the relevant community services that are important for positive spiritual, mental and physical health and well-being. To that end, our activities and services include Friday prayers, Islamic event celebrations and commemorations, educational classes, counselling (for mental health, marriage etc), recreational activities and community events. Our vision is to create an open and welcoming centre that offers inclusive activities that support the spiritual, educational, cultural and recreational needs of the community. We envisage a strong and cohesive community that allows opportunities for development and growth individually, for families and for the community as a whole. Our values are progressiveness, openness and humility.
