About Dardis Academy

Our Mission: To develop future leaders by providing high school and college students with an opportunity to gain life skills in independence, confidence, goal setting and self-motivation through our summer entrepreneurial program. The Dardis Academy is a unique program where students receive one week of world-class training followed by 9 weeks of real world experience. At the end of the summer, graduates of the program are a high performing, fully trained, proven asset to any organization. In order to be successful, students need to demonstrate professional communication skills and have real world experience on their resume. Year after year, surveys show that oral and written communication continues to be the number one shortfall among college graduates. Today’s students lack “soft skills”. Research shows that only 15% of one’s success in the workplace is determined by technical skills, while the remaining 85% of a ones success depends on soft skills. Students lack the desired communication skills, professional image, and the ability to sell themselves and their ideas effectively. Dardis’ unique summer internship is an opportunity for students to jump-start their future careers. Students who participate in the program run their own business selling men’s apparel such as: suits, blazers, polo’s, dress shirts, trousers, belts and accessories.
