About .dat

.DAT LLC was founded in 2003 by talented group of developers who, for many years, worked in Akella and took a major part in the development of "Sea Dogs" (PC; 2000), "Pirates of the Caribbean" (PC, Xbox; 2002), and other games. Employees of the company took part in creation of computer games for various platforms (PC, consoles, MMORPG). Also our employees were doing special effects (FX) and animation for movies, created illustrations, and computer graphics for TV and magazines. Our team consists of 25 professional developers on the staff and more than 30 freelancers, including artists, modelers, programmers, and specialists in sound environment, game designers and scenarists. In our projects we are using our own graphic engine VirtualDream®, which is satisfies the modern technical requirements. Since 2005 the company is working on AAA title Disciples III: Renaissance. In 2007 the company has begun to work on new, not announced project.
