A global health project that improves quality of life, health and productivity. DATA for GOOD is to ensure privacy and at the same time enable commercial and societal value creation by the use of intelligent data mining (big data) in an ethical responsible set-up (compliance) Because by linking health and behavioural data with new innovative approaches, we can predict illness, unhealthy behavioural patterns and the individuals who are the most vulnerable for a certain disease. Based on machine learning and advanced mathematical models we can create relatively accurate health predictions. This enables the foundation to develop models that can predict which prevention efforts are the right for citizens all over the world, while researchers will have access to new and unique knowledge on a societal level. By doing this it is possible much earlier to intervene at an early stage in order to prevent illness and diseases – improve quality of life! DATA for GOOD is a non-profit organization with a charitable purpose. DATA for GOOD is to improve public health and create social change across silos through intelligent mining and nudging. DATA for GOOD must contribute to the development and improvement of public health in general, by giving the users (citizens, public and private organizations) tools and insights that motivate to action (nudging and empowerment)
